The return of Color!

I always love visiting Scotland. And, what's not to love?  It's beautiful lush countryside boasts warm and welcoming people and extraordinary golf courses (among many other reasons). I brought home this traditional Harris Tweed pleated wool skirt on my most recent visit. The vibrant colors and classic craftsmanship just called out to the nostalgic in me! I thought it would be fun to pair the skirt with black to play off the beautiful shades of pink, magenta and purple so I put on my favorite Carolina Herrera suede over the knee sandals, and a Chanel Ruffle Ribbon leather jacket with pleat detailing down the front, cuffs and collar. (A pre-owned available here) I'm carraying a Gucci Dionysus shoulder bag (similar: here) with a Shanghai Tang scarf tied to it (similar: here).  Finally, my hot pink earrings are from Forever 21.
