My favorite Kimono - with #only Joie

I’ve said this before here, but again..sometimes unfortunate situations can open doors to unexpected and serendipitous little silver linings. I am reminded of this every time I pack and wear this favorite Stork green printed kimono from One Hundred Stars. Let me elaborate. I was the recipient of a disastrous blowout in Miami a few months ago, and I ran to a salon across the street from my hotel to see if they could help me correct it before my client meeting. Since they so kindly saved the day, I wanted to show my appreciation by shopping in their boutique. I was not familiar with the brand, but the pretty colors and print caught my eye and I imagined that it would be lovely over a bathing suit or for lounging. But while rushing out a few days later, I threw it on with these Joie drawastring relaxed fit cargo print trousers and Women’s Monterey relaxed V-neck Tshirt from Target and I loved the way it looked! Now I pack it to wear with with so many looks for its versatility and beauty!.

My sneakers are of course the favorite Stan Smith for Adidas which are always the go-to and irreplaceable for comfort and look. The tennis star was actually kind enough to sign two pairs of them for me when I purchased them at the pro shop at the USTA national campus down in Orlando Florida but I don’t dare wear them.

The orange and black tote is by Tumi and has become my favorite carry-on bag for overseas travel it holds more than any other carry-on bag I have ever had and is extremely lightweight ballistic nylon. It has traveled with me all over the world including picking up treasures from China!

We are officially through the first half of January! So far my resolutions are on track and I am still excited for what is to come in 2020. How about you?
