A little bit of magic...

A little bit of magic...

Tomas Maier created this tailored jacket while he was the creative director at Bottega Venetta in a fine tessuto, with layers of sculpted ruffles and pleats that wrap around the waistline and finish in a cascade of flowing panels over the back of the leg. The layers of fabric are done in a silk and a special cotton woven with copper developed by Maier for this collection. The jacket is lined and closes in the front with hidden metal snaps. To me, the creativity and attention to detail is art at its finest, and frankly, a little bit of magic.

I am wearing a white minimalist organza-trimmed maxi slip dress from Brunello Cucinelli with an organza-lined V-neck and slender back straps layered with a pair of black/charcoal Manolo Blahnik BB70 pointed toe pumps and a borrowed black patten leather evening belt (similar: here)

In addition to my everyday jewelry I am wearing an Hermes watch which was a gift from my very kind and wonderful husband who makes every day a little bit of magic as well.

Kathleen.
