After my long work week, it was such a delight to freshen up and enjoy some much needed downtime with friends. I chose a pair of crisp white Celine, wide leg culottes with black back pocket detailing and stitching for their flattering lines and the glorious flow. On top, I'm wearing a Veronica Beard black and white body suit which complimented the fluid lines of the Celine pants. For a little bit of pop and sparkle, I added with my favorite Alexis Bittar gold cuff bracelet and ring.
But the real story here is my distressed Luisa Spagnoli belt. It was pretty rough to discover that this beautiful buckle had a significant scratch across its surface. Rather than shy away from wearing it, or much worse, getting rid of it, I decided to just go with it. I got a hammer, and distressed the hardware even more to give it a completely different but edgier look, which seemed more fitting than the odd single but noticeable scratch . Now the belt is still beautiful, but a tad more current in feel and I wear it even more than ever. Another example of how when life gives you lemons... Hope you're having a great week. xo, Kathleen
