Deconstructing with Kendall + Kyle
I was drawn to the edginess of this grey deconstructed terry dress from Kendall + Kylie's Winter 2016 collection. The sheer inserts beneath torn/shredded fabric seem to be influenced by Kanye West's earlier collection in nudes and earth tones. For a little more coverage, I'm wearing a black Spanx slip underneath which also flows with the dress so that it doesn't cling. Additionally, I razor slit and frayed the neckline as I thought it was a little too finished and added a black leather Free People choker to accentuate the new rip I made to the neckline.
The Michael Kors black leather jacket is more than 10 years old but I still like to throw it over outfits! My dove grey boots from Ralph Lauren are at least 2 years old. I got them before the over-the-knee boot trend became big again and fell in love with the rich color, pointy toe and - of course- the length. To give the look a finishing touch, I added more leather on my wrist from Cinco De Uno.
Special thanks to King and Ace for appearing with me today!
Have a GREAT day!
