Beautiful Vibrant Color!
Happy Hump Day!
In honor of my reflection post on perception and color, I thought it would be fun to post a coordinating photo story that is chock full of beautiful hues and fabulous unexpected pieces that together create a story all its own!.
I’ve had these multi-colored Dolce & Gabbana graffiti jeans for years. In fact, I came across an old photo of me wearing them while dancing with my son - who was about 10 at the time - on the lawn of our beach home on 30A. I love them as much today as I did then, and It goes to show how well quality craftsmanship holds up over time! I noticed that Dolce had another fun graffiti & cat print jean out about a year ago and seriously contemplated them in addition to the men’s Dolce Dubai graffiti print track pants that are available now. Frankly I think the men’s joggers worn baggy with a fitted tank top and chunky sneakers or even a heel would be such a cool and funky fit. Just sayin’!
I’ve layered a sleeveless Tory Burch Women's Blue Performance Merino Fair Isle Dickey on top of a white Gap t-shirt with a blue and white H&M striped Button down Oxford, tied at the waist. For added color, and texture I draped a Damask Velvet Jacquard Tailored Coat by Burberry over my shoulders and added the fabulous Women's Blue Abel Denim Pumps by Jimmy Choo (which pull from the jeans and the blue button down beautifully!)
The beautiful VBH Brera Surf Blue Ostrich Top Handle Tote (available here in Limestone) is the perfect bag to anchor this vibrant look. VBH is an exclusive Italian luxury accessory house based in Rome which has their own atelier in Florence where all the bags are made with best materials, and by the best artisans in Italy. The bag I am carrying is named after the renowned Brera design district in Milano, Italy and is one of the favorites in my closet. Naturally, I’ve attached a Gucci Ghost scarf which was a gift from a dear friend who thought of me when they saw the graffiti print.
I hope the rest of your week, and weekend, are full of color, vibrancy and of course #onlyjoy.
XO
Kathleen
