It’s been a very busy Summer for us all! As I sit here packing for another work trip, I am reminded of my mantra of buying quality over quantity and absolutely loving what you purchase.

This Valentino Double-Breasted Belted Fringe Hem Leather Trench Coat immediately took my breath away when I saw it on the runway last year, and I coo with delight each and every time I wear it because it looks fabulous with everything and even if I’m having a bad day, I feel spectacular every time I put it on!

Today, I have on a JCrew orange motif cotton blouse, a pair of Veronica Beard Carly Kick Flare Jeans with Tuxedo Stripes and an orange woven leather Bottega Veneta belt that pulls from the oranges in my JCrew Blouse.

You’ve seen my workhorse Steve Madden open-toe suede open booties here and here . I think they look just as great today and the neutral tones perfectly suits the color of the Valentino coat.

I’ve also been known to blend statement necklaces that give the my final looks a little polish and panache. Here I’ve layered an orange and tortoise Hermes pendant with seafoam colored beads that tie in all of the hues from top to bottom.
