Could it be?

Could it be what I think it is? Dare I say….Spring?

Yes, it is early to be imagining the long days and short nights just yet, but the mild temperatures in the Northeast this week had me dressing for April/May instead of February and I wasn’t complaining! People I passed on the streets seemed to be feeling the same excitement as I was and it was expressed through color, texture and a beat in their steps.

I packed and wore a favorite outfit that I often variate while while home in Dallas. The “moment” starts with a white Chanel jacket with mint and peach toned grosgrain ribbon trim. I typically layer a tank top from Walmart or Target underneath as I am here today and then add scores of multi-length necklaces to coordinate with the hues of the jacket. Today, I added a pair of Polo Ralph Lauren distressed paint splatter jeans along with my favroite lime green suede Manolo Blahnik Arriga mules.

As the sun set, the cooler temperatures came sweeping in and it was back to heavy coats and boots. But for a brief moment in time, there was sunlight and hope for the dawning of a new season! I for one can’t wait to break out some new treasures and share them here with you. Until then, have a great remainder of your week. March will be here before the blink of an eye!
