When I purchase something new, especially if it’s an investment piece, I ask myself if I can coordinate it multiple ways in order to make it worthwhile. Of course, I have to fall in love with it and more often than not I make myself sleep on it and hopefully hold out for a discount or sale. Often times, I get very lucky at outlets and even with designers direct .

When I saw this Balmain metallic cable knit midi skirt , my brain went into overdrive! I immediately imagined different ways to dress it up, and down and mentally began picturing things in my closet that I could coordinate different looks with.

Today, almost everything I am wearing with the skirt has been featured here. Let me elaborate!

The yellow leather Akris Punto Short Sleeve Nappa Leather Jacket, the yellow satin Amina Muaddi Rosie Crystal Bow Halter Pumps and yellow Ralph Lauren US Open Sunglasses were worn together a few weeks ago in my US Open post.

The ultimate classic Anne Fontaine Connie Shirt was included in a look with adorable pins early on here back in 2017!

I vividly recall wearing the sheer floor skimming vest by Brunello Cucinelli in a magical weekend in Aspen prior to my wedding and the Louis Vuitton silver Lock Me Collar Neklace more times than I can remember, but one of my favorite times seeing my beloved friends for dinner, here.

The bejeweled Judith Lieber bag and pearl earrings that belonged to my mother both carry so many treasured memories with people (and outfits) that I am grateful to know and share precious memories with along the way. Who knows, they may show up in a future post (or two) again!.
