Autumn Check-in
I recently came across a course offered through Yale University called The Science of Well-Being. I have not enrolled in the class but reading about it offered “food for thought”. It is important now, more than ever, to dip into our wells of #onlyjoy in whatever way we are so inclined. Spending time with my family, traveling and learning about art and culture, philanthropy, golf, fly-fishing, and fashion are some of the sparks that ignite my well-being.
For an event in New York, I wore a Floral-Print Ruffle-Neck Silk Plisse Gown with matching belt by Andrew Gn. If you are not familiar with his gorgeous creations, I urge you to visit his website. After graduating from design school in Milan, Gn moved to Paris to assist M Emmanuel Ungaro before starting his own house. As his bio states, Andrew Gn “is an art and antique collector at heart and his passion translates into many cultural and historical inspirations for his fashion designs. Chinese porcelain, Braque, Utopian Robots, there is no impossible dialog. East meets West, Klimt meets Tribal art and Baroque meets Sci-Fi. His collections are a journey through time and space, encapsulated in the most luxurious and exclusive materials”.
The cap sleeve pink silk Talbot Runhof jacket may look familiar in its similarities to the green one I wore with my Valentino look earlier this year and my ride or die Amina Muaddi Rosie Crystal Bow Halter Pumps perfectly finish this vibrant look.
Sending you all #onlyjoy
