Hey there!

April showers bring May flowers, right? Well, it also brought crazy weather across the U.S., along with chilly and unseasonable temperatures wherever I seemed to travel! Thankfully, I always pack a few layers for days where temperatures start off cool, warm up mid-day, and then get cool again at night.

For this springtime look, I brought back my favorite Just Cavalli alpaca and mohair dyed yellow houndstooth jacket that I wore in my very first post!. However, this time I removed the detachable fur collar for a more streamlined look. Underneath, I am wearing a white with blue pinstripe cotton button-down blouse from Banana Republic and a pair of 7 for all mankindHigh-Rise Ankle Skinny Jeans w/ Daisy Floral-Print & Raw-Hem. To give this outfit a little bit of a sleek/retro vibe, I added this wide white leather belt that I found in a local boutique which has detailing on the edges and double buckles. I particularly like that it accentuates the curvature of the waistline and coordinates perfectly with my white mules by GIANVITO ROSSI.

To accessorize, I combined multiple acrylic bracelets with my Hermes bracelet, and attached a cord to this adorable Paul Smith elephant change purse to wear as a necklace. (You know I like to find unique and unexpected ways to wear things).

So, how have you been coping with this crazy weather? Do you also dress in layers for days like this?
