Color, Color, Color!

It’s been a very busy week for me here in Dallas and it doesn’t look like my schedule will ease up any time soon, but these are great problems to have. I use any excuse or window of free time that I have to get dressed and do things that fill my heart with #onlyjoy. I’ve shared my love for fly fishing and golf (among other things) but when there’s less time, a good walk or visit to a local gallery is a great de-stressor for me.

I paired this Coach leather vest with white shearling and leather buckle detailing very differently in this post I shared in March, 2019 . Today I am layering it on top of this gorgeous multicolored Etro patchwork knit maxi dress and Hermes bone Carlotta clogs. I added a wide brown leather woven Ralph Lauren belt with a large silver plate buckle to cinch my waist and offer a slightly more tailored silhouette to the dress. I’m also wearing a bold, chunky Nest purple Jasper statement necklace from their runway show. (This one is no longer available, but there are other options like this in black or this one for similar color). I think this necklace is a work of art and truly holds its own and compliments the colors in the detailing of the Etro dress!.

Valentine’s day is not far off, where did January go? Usually it seems to last forever!.
